Terms of service
Draft for the practitioner to review and adopt. Not legal advice.
Booking and confirmation
Choosing a time on the calendar creates a request, not a booking. The time is held for you while the request is open. Your appointment exists once you receive a confirmation email, and not before. Please do not travel until you have it.
Cancellations, changes and deposits
Cancelling or moving an appointment with 24 hours' notice or more costs nothing, and any deposit paid is refunded in full. Inside that window a new patient's £30.00 deposit is retained. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed, may be charged in full, per the policy agreed at booking.
The fee exists because a slot given up at short notice usually cannot be filled. It is not a penalty and it is not applied when the practice cancels or changes an appointment. The practitioner may waive it, and does where circumstances warrant.
You authorise this charge when you book, by ticking the consent box that sets out the amount and the notice period. The wording you agreed to, and the date you agreed to it, are stored against that specific appointment.
Paying for treatment
Sessions are paid for in the clinic. The only payment taken online is the late change fee described above.
Your records
A clinical record is kept of your care. How it is held, for how long, and what you can ask for is set out in the privacy notice.
