Physiotherapy near Glenboig
For people in Glenboig, the nearest town is Coatbridge, and Chapman Physiotherapy & Performance is on its northern side at 10 Cameron Street. That is good news for anyone coming from the village: it is a straight run south on the B804, and you never need to tackle the town centre to get there.
Kieran Chapman is an HCPC registered physiotherapist with experience in MSK physiotherapy, orthopaedics, neurological physiotherapy and cardiac rehab. In practice that means he can help a youth football coach with a niggling knee, a parent whose back has had enough of lifting toddlers in and out of car seats, or someone getting back on their feet after surgery.
All sessions are one-to-one and last 45 minutes. You book online, with live availability and evening and Saturday slots for anyone who leaves the village to work during the week.

Glenboig
Village life and getting outdoors in Glenboig
Glenboig was once known around the world for its fireclay, and brickmaking only ended here in 1980. Since then the population has grown quickly, with new estates built through the 2000s and the Meadowside development under way since 2021. Glenboig United Football Club, founded in 1986 when school football was in decline, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, and the Glenboig Development Trust runs indoor bowls sessions in the village.
Getting outside is easy. Glenboig Village Park was rebuilt in 2009, Garnqueen Loch lies on the western edge of the village, and the footpaths of Gartcosh Nature Reserve, the popular Ducks Walk among them, connect Glenboig with Gartcosh across the former steelworks land. It is good walking and running country, and uneven paths are also where plenty of ankles get turned.
The M73 runs right past the village, which makes commuting by car straightforward but often means long hours behind the wheel followed by a day at a desk. That combination is a classic source of stiff necks, tight hips and low back pain. Gardening, DIY on a new-build and carrying young children about bring strains of their own.

This page covers Glenboig village and the streets around it, including Marnock to the west, Garnqueen by the loch, Gartliston on the road south towards Coatbridge, and the hamlet of Annathill to the north. Gartliston is the closest of all to the clinic, because the B804 passes straight through it on its way down to Coltswood Road and Sunnyside.
Treatment
What Kieran can help with
Injury assessment
The first appointment, the injury assessment, is where Kieran works out what is going on. He asks about your symptoms and daily routine, from the commute to coaching on a Sunday, then checks movement, strength and the tissues involved before talking you through his findings.
More about injury assessment →
Rehabilitation
Rehab pairs hands-on treatment with exercises that build week by week. The plan sits in your own online account, so you can follow it in the living room, at Glenboig Village Park or on a loop round the nature reserve, and Kieran updates it as you move forward.
More about rehabilitation →
Deep tissue and sports massage
Deep tissue massage works into stubborn tightness, while sports massage is aimed at muscles that are worked hard in training or on the job. Either can be booked as a standalone session without a full rehab programme.

Acupuncture, cupping and taping
Acupuncture uses fine needles and can form part of a wider plan for managing pain. Cupping and taping are also available, and taping is a handy way to support a joint while you return to football, running or the gym.

Questions
Coming from Glenboig
Is there a bus from Glenboig to the clinic?
Yes. The service 3 and the 132 or 132A run from Glenboig into Coatbridge and stop on Alston Avenue and Chassels Street, a short walk from Cameron Street. Timetables change from time to time, so check current times before you set off.
Do I have to drive through Coatbridge town centre?
No. Cameron Street is on the northern side of Coatbridge, and the B804 from Glenboig reaches it by Gartliston Road, Coltswood Road and Sunnyside Road without going near Main Street.
Can I book an evening appointment after commuting home?
Yes. Evening and Saturday appointments are available and the booking page shows live availability, so you can see what is free before heading down the B804.
What do new patients need to do?
Book online and pay a deposit, which is taken off the session price, then complete the short consultation form before you arrive. A GP referral is not needed. From the second visit onwards you pay at the appointment, by cash or card.
